Meowzer Terms of Service
These Terms govern the use of Meowzer (meowzer.app) by teachers, schools, and students for comparative judgment and peer feedback.

1. Acceptable Classroom Use & Teacher Oversight
Designed for supervised school and classroom environments
Meowzer is an educational tool for teachers and students using Google Workspace for Education or personal Google accounts. Teachers are responsible for selecting appropriate classroom assignments, reviewing comparative rankings, moderating or silencing peer comments where necessary, and approving any marks or feedback slips before syncing them back to Google Classroom.
2. Archiving Completed Arenas to Google Drive
Teacher-controlled retention and Google Drive storage
Active arenas remain open in the Teacher Hub until the teacher chooses to archive or delete them. When a teacher clicks Archive to Drive, Meowzer exports the arena standings and feedback into a formatted Google Sheet and a .compair.json revival snapshot inside the teacher's own Google Drive (Meowzer Arenas folder) and purges the active session from Firestore.
3. Sparkles & Payments
Transparent pay-as-you-go AI extras powered by Stripe
Standard peer comparative judgment arenas are free. Optional AI-powered features (handwritten exercise book transcription, Meowzer AI co-judging, and automated WWW/EBI feedback synthesis) use Sparkles:
- Cohort-Scaled Usage: Upgrading an arena uses 1 Sparkle per 50 pupils (or part thereof).
- Top-Up Packs: Teachers can purchase top-up packs securely via Stripe Checkout (£5.00 for 5 Sparkles or £15.00 for 20 Sparkles, one-time payment in GBP with no recurring subscription).
- Refunds & Support: If an AI run fails due to a technical issue or you require a billing receipt or refund for unused Sparkles, please contact meowzer@meowzer.app.
